Breastfeeding on Sesame Street?

Check out these super cool (and super OLD) clips about breastfeeding from Sesame Street.  As you can probably guess, neither of them has aired in a very, very long time.

Personally, I love both these segments.  They portray breastfeeding in a simple, direct, positive light - without criticizing mamas who choose to bottle-feed.  And while neither actress attempts to hide what she's doing, both are so well covered that I doubt anyone could claim to be offended by nipples, "nudity," etc.

If you agree that these clips are awesome, I hope you'll consider signing this petition asking Sesame Workshop to produce and air more segments that feature breastfeeding babies.  Please note that this would be in addition to - not instead of - the many clips that show babies being fed from bottles.  We want everyone to feel comfortable and included!
