I'm back!

Over the past eleven days, you may (or may NOT) have noticed my complete and total absence from the blogosphere.  I wasn't on vacation, or sick, or taking any type of intentional break.  I was, to be completely blunt, too busy to blog.

I'll spare you the details, which would likely bore anyone who isn't riveted by such exciting topics as enterprise computing, software as a service, digital marketing strategies, and web analytics.  Suffice it to say, I had a lot going on, not enough hours in the day, and a to-do list that seemed to grow longer each night while I slept.

Even in the midst of all the insanity, I didn't actually make the conscious choice to stop blogging; rather, somewhere around day three of my exile from the interwebs, I realized, "Crap, I haven't posted anything in ages."  Then I shrugged and got back to whatever else I was doing, figuring I would start writing again some time in the near future.

And now, after eleven days, it seems the near future has arrived.  My to-do list has, for the moment, been pared down to a manageable size.  That in and of itself makes me feel ready to take on the world - or, at the very least, maintain a marginally popular, thematically schizophrenic parenting blog for another week.  One or the other, definitely.

I look forward to getting back into the swing of things, and, most importantly, engaging with those of you who are kind enough to stop by my little corner of the internet each day.  I can't tell you how much it means to me that you all care enough to read the silly little things I post here.

That being said, I think it's now time for me to step away from the computer.  I want to spend time with Donnie before he heads to work (yes, on a Sunday!), then wake my sweet baby up for some breakfast and Blue's Clues.  Because when all is said and done, that's the important stuff.  And everything else - from writing to work to putting away clean laundry - can wait.

I hope you all have a very happy Sunday.  Talk to you tomorrow!
